More Mars Boards

Here's the next chunk of that storyboard sample. (Part 1 was over here). In this installment we have cheap conjuring tricks, newt-thievery, and butt-kicking.

One of the frustrating things about working on film projects is that they take years to complete, and until they come out, you can't show people what you've been working on. Since most of my previous animation storyboarding work is tied up in this fashion, I've been meaning to sit down and create some sample boards so I actually have something to put in my portfolio. So here goes!

In this sample, we catch up again with a couple of characters from my King of Mars story. This is the start of what's probably going to be a 200-board scene. The newt-cooking sequence kind of took on a weird life of its own...
